The name Bible-talk.org: Bibletalk was the name used to identify the radio program we were running on a local radio station during the months prior to the creation of this site so it seemed like a natural name to use.

Our Goal: The name of the site is very descriptive of our goals for this site, we want to encourage Bible discussion. This forum has been created for that purpose alone, and everyone is encouraged to participate. Please remember that this is a public forum and people are entitled to their own opinions so please be respectful in the discussions. Also, because this is a public forum the opinions expressed within are not necessarily the opinions held by those who maintain this forum.

Please Note: You may browse through the discussions without an account but you will have to sign up in order to post messages/replies. The initial intent was to allow anonymous posting but unfortunately the site suffered a large amount of abuse from automated programs written to drop links to sites with abhorent content so we were forced to disable that feature. But rest assured that your information will not be shared or used outside of this forum.

In an effort to reach out to a larger audience and get the discussion list growing we have dedicated bible-talk.org to the discussion list and created a new site for the Smithville Church of Christ website at: http://www.smithvillechurchofchrist.ca/.
